DailyCalc Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of DailyCalc (the “App”), provided by Mr. Liu (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Description of the App

DailyCalc provides everyday calculation tools, including tools for tips, split bills, receipt splitting, loans, mortgages, subscriptions, savings goals, date and time calculations, currency conversion, travel conversion, price comparison, unit conversion, saved history, saved plans, reminders, and export features.

The App is intended for general informational and convenience purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional advice.

2. No Financial, Legal, Tax, or Professional Advice

The App provides calculations and estimates based on information entered by you and, where applicable, data from third-party sources. Results may be approximate, delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.

The App does not provide financial, legal, tax, investment, accounting, mortgage, insurance, or other professional advice. You are responsible for verifying all results before making decisions. For professional matters, consult a qualified professional.

3. Eligibility and Use

You may use the App only if you can legally enter into these Terms and comply with applicable laws. You agree not to misuse the App, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the App, or use the App in a way that violates any law or third-party rights.

4. Your Data and Saved Content

The App may allow you to create and save calculation history, saved plans, subscriptions, goals, reminders, notes, favorite currency pairs, and other content. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you enter and save in the App.

You are responsible for maintaining backups of any important data. We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, deletion, app removal, operating system changes, sync issues, or other events outside our reasonable control.

5. Exchange Rates and Third-Party Data

The App may support manual exchange rates, cached exchange rates, or live exchange rates. Live exchange rates may be provided by third-party data providers and may be delayed, unavailable, inaccurate, or subject to change without notice.

Exchange-rate information is provided for convenience only and should not be used as financial, trading, tax, or investment advice.

6. Reminders and Notifications

The App may provide optional reminders for subscriptions, savings goals, renewals, progress updates, or other events. Reminders are provided for convenience only. We do not guarantee that notifications will be delivered on time or at all.

You remain responsible for managing subscriptions, payments, renewals, goals, deadlines, and other obligations.

7. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App may offer optional paid features, subscriptions, lifetime purchases, or other in-app purchases (“Pro”). Purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.

Auto-renewable subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Apple may handle billing, refunds, and subscription management according to Apple’s policies.

Pro features, free limits, pricing, and available purchase options may change over time. Access to subscription-based Pro features depends on an active subscription or valid purchase status.

8. Refunds

Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. To request a refund, please use Apple’s official refund request process.

9. Exported Files and Shared Content

The App may allow you to copy, share, or export calculations as text, images, CSV, PDF, or other formats. You are responsible for reviewing exported or shared content before sending it to others.

10. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, software, features, text, graphics, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by law.

11. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party services, such as Apple services, purchase processing, cloud storage, exchange-rate providers, or other infrastructure. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their data, or their policies.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, incorrect calculations, missed reminders, missed payments, subscription renewals, financial losses, or decisions made based on App results.

14. Changes to the App

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We may also update, add, remove, or change features, free limits, or Pro features.

15. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, or if required by law or platform policy.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted in the App or on our support page. Your continued use of the App after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
